Common Common Ground Recovery Inc. is a Vermont-based nonprofit rooted in healing, dignity, and community. Our peer-led sober living residences empower residents to govern daily operations, share responsibilities, and uphold communal accountability under a hybrid Level 1 & 2 Peer-Run model defined by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR).
We adopt NARR’s evidence-based standards and ethical guidelines—spanning administrative operations, physical environment, recovery support, and good neighbor practices—to ensure every residence offers a safe, healthy, and supportive environment conducive to long-term recovery.
Guided by trauma-informed principles and the voices of those with lived experience, our programs and outreach foster authentic connection and transparent stewardship. We believe true recovery flourishes when people feel seen, respected, and empowered.
Every image, word, and decision at CGR is crafted to reflect hope, belonging, and integrity. Our commitment to ethical governance and resource stewardship ensures our community receives nothing less.
